Reinforcements

Reinforcement materials provide strength, stiffness and durability within composite laminates. Our range includes fibreglass cloth, chopped strand mat, carbon fibre, Kevlar, fibreglass rods, reinforcement tapes, double-bias fabrics, core materials and heat-wrap products. These materials are used in boatbuilding, repairs, motorsport, surfboards, mould making, fabrication and specialist composite projects. Different fibres and fabric constructions produce different handling and performance characteristics, so selecting the right reinforcement is an important part of any laminate design. The Fibreglass Shop supplies materials for both experienced fabricators and first-time users.
